The Florida Center for Reading Research is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Research position.
This person will be involved in educational research projects with the Director of Research at the center. The position requires an understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as experience producing reports. This is a full-time faculty position (non-tenure track) with pay commensurate with experience and knowledge of statistical software and applications. Preferred experience would include working knowledge of SPSS and one or more of the following: SAS, HLM, LISREL, MPLUS, as
well as experience with running hierarchical linear models, latent growth models, and familiarity with Item Response Theory. Interested parties should contact Yaacov

help support informed planning and decision making.
The Office currently has an opening for a Research Analyst who is responsible for providing technical, research, and statistical support for various research projects. In addition, the individual in this position initiates, conducts, and reports on various research projects, performing related duties, which include: questionnaire design; survey administration; data analysis; report preparation; and communication of results. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years' related experience. Masters or doctorate preferred. Must possess strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including: experience with multivariate statistics; expertise in use of SPSS or SAS; proficiency with spreadsheet and graphics software; strong oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; and ability to work in a team environment.
