The University of Arizona, Department of Educational Psychology (EDP) and Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in Statistics (GIDP): Assistant Professor specializing
in statistics or psychometrics. The successful candidate will be a talented statistician or psychometrician who can collaborate with faculty to help guide and establish coordinated, targeted growth in statistics and psychometrics for EDP and for GIDP; teach a variety of graduate courses as assigned and mutually agreed upon with the department head of EDP and the Chair of GIDP; serve as advisor/mentor to graduate students in EDP, direct M.S. and Ph.D.
level statistics students in GIDP; and develop a research program in statistics, psychometrics, or quantitative modeling related areas in concert with faculty in EDP, GIDP, and other units across The University of Arizona. The successful candidate's tenure-eligible appointment will be in EDP. The first-year teaching load will involve 1 course in GIDP and 1-2 courses in EDP, as negotiated with the Head of EDP. A Ph.D. in Statistics or Educational Psychology, or equivalent,
