Policy Analyst
Department of Education
The position will focus on analyzing whether districts appear to have a disproportionate number of minority students enrolled in their Special Education programs relative to their representation in the overall district population, as well as developing policies and programs to address the problem as it occurs. As part of the Office of Strategic Planning, Research, and Evaluation, the person in the position will also have the opportunity to work on other policy-related tasks such as policy analysis, grant applications, memos to the Board of Education, and special projects.
