Two Stats Lab Instructor Positions at University of Central Florida in the
College of Education (position numbers 37025 and 36093)

Position Minimum Qualifications: The Department of Educational Research,
Technology & Leadership invites applications for a non-tenure earning
position, instructor and coordinator. The individual selected for this
position will be responsible for teaching, advising and coordinating the
College of Education's Statistics Lab on the University of Central Florida
Orlando campus. The position is expected to start May 2010. To meet
minimum qualifications, candidates must have (1) an earned doctoral degree
in a relevant area from an accredited institution by time of hire (ABD
will be considered, but all degree requirements including dissertation
must be completed before starting the position) (2) competence in
integrating technology into teaching/research; (3) flexibility to work in
qualitative and quantitative research methods at the graduate level and/or
evaluation; (4) potential/demonstrated ability to maintain an active
research and publication agenda

Preferences: Preference will be given to applicants with three years K-12
teaching or other related experience; flexibility to teach quantitative or
qualitative research; ability to work on dissertation/thesis committees;
and an ability to work with other faculty members, classroom teachers,
school administrators and students.
