The Opportunity
Eduventures seeks a strong project and team manager with higher education development experience or knowledge to serve as a project/account manager. This individual will manage accounts, research projects, and a team of researchers to successfully deliver high-impact benchmarking, survey, and best practice research to higher education advancement clients. Eduventures seeks strong managers who can contribute effectively to teams executing a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to meet the specific needs of our college, university, and other clients. Frequent research methods we employ include online surveys, telephone interviews with executive-level contacts, focus groups, and Internet and database research. All team members are also expected to produce customized research recommendations and effectively advise clients in the course of critical decision-making activities related to their organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Build and maintain relationships with higher education advancement clients that result in client retention
• Advise clients on critical business decisions based on credible evidence
• Manage and conduct qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research to support client needs
• Common research topics include:
o Increasing frontline productivity
o Aligning academic and advancement priorities
o Improving annual giving participation
o Managing return on advancement investments
o Transitioning donors to higher giving levels
• Lead the research and creation of client-specific products addressing constituent research, benchmarking, or other information needs of individual clients
• Manage a team of researchers and a pool of client projects to deliver on-time, high-quality projects that exceed client expectations
• Manage a calendar of industry Webinars delivered monthly to clients
• Interact regularly with clients to monitor and ensure client satisfaction and to identify and meet client needs
• Work with program manager and team to monitor and report on client activities and satisfaction

Requirements
• Articulate, mature, self-starters with 2-5+ years of experience in development consulting, development services account management/sales, and/or other higher education client and project management
• Strong analytical skills with qualitative and quantitative research experience
• Strong written and verbal business communication skills and client service ethic
• Exceptional writing skills; proven ability to transform key data into clear business commentary and action points
• Strong presentation and client-facing skills
• Expertise in managing relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
• Business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set
• Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SPSS, STATA, or similar statistics package
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or above highly preferred
• Experience in higher education is a plus, particularly in development and fundraising
