The appointee will be responsible for conducting research projects, assisting in publication works, writing for publications, organizing international and local conferences and workshops, supervising doctoral students, and performing other research-related duties as assigned. The appointment will be tenable up to 30 June 2012, with a possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in psychometrics, educational measurement and assessment, quantitative methods or a relevant discipline. Preference will be given to those applicants with expertise in Rasch measurement, item response theory, computerized adaptive testing, multi-level modeling, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal data analysis.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits.
