National Center on Family Homelessness

The following is a job announcement for a part-time position with the National Center on Family Homelessness, which is based in Newton/Needham. NCFH is looking for a person with quantitative skills to oversee the data collection processes of a large-scale study investigating the effectiveness of an intervention targeted toward young, homeless mothers. This is a paid position ($15-$20/hr depending on experience) and all work would be done in the Newton/Needham office for approximately 5-10 hours per week. The position entails monitoring the data collection at four different sites, conducting quality checks on the data collection and data entry, as well as doing some data entry. This position is similar to what I did there a few summers ago and it was great experience to work with SPSS on large data sets. NCFH may also let you use their data for your own class projects and there might even be potential to help work on published reports. If you are interested in the position please contact Sonia Suri at Sonia.Suri@familyhomelessness.org and let her know that you heard about the position from me.
