Wediko is a non-profit agency with over 70 years of experience dedicated to children whose learning, social development, and self-direction is lagging. During the summer months, Wediko operates its New Hampshire Summer Program, an academic residential treatment setting for children with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances (SED). Each year, the Summer Program offers paid internships to students from universities and colleges across the nation. These interns not only enable the success of 145 at-risk youth, but also benefit from ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. This opportunity offers a stipend, room & board, as well as an AmeriCorps education award for those who qualify.
