Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in an education discipline; Area of specialization is open. Interest and experience in working on Latino educational issues are essential. History of active research, writing in education is essential. For hire at the Associate level, evidence of scholarly productivity and success in securing research funding is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidate will be required to write and direct grants aligned with the mission of the center. Funding may be pursued with interested faculty in and outside the College for Center grants. The Research Scientist will report to the Center Director and be responsible for documenting active research in pursuing research funding, collaboration on proposals/projects related to the mission of the Center, and generate and/or collaborate on related scholarly activities (e.g., chapters, articles, and conferences).
