Director of Data Management and Evaluation
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK
The Director of Data Management and Evaluation coordinates process and procedures for
collection, management, and analysis of all school district data. The Director is responsible for developing data solutions to complex organizational problems; for increasing processing efficiency within individual and collective departments; for developing, implementing, maintaining, coordinating and managing all data support applications; leading the district work towards a data driven culture.
This position reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent of Schools for Teaching and Learning, chairs the data advisory committee (DAC), and co-chairs the school committee data team. The position has considerable independence in resolving problems within scope of responsibility. Supervision is exercised over a small staff of data verification and reporting specialists.
