Massachusetts Public School Performance

Position Title: Part-Time Assessment Developer
Reports to: Assessment Developer
Hire Date: September, 2008

Organization: Massachusetts Public School Performance and its Mission
Massachusetts Public School Performance (MPSP) was founded in January 2005 with a mission to build the capacity of school leaders to understand and effectively use real-time data to improve instruction in order to increase student achievement. We seek to transform how assessments are used—away from being an annual compliance mechanism, and towards being a powerful real-time tool, that dramatically improves instruction and increases student achievement.

Our Services to Schools:
MPSP provides schools with a unique set of tools to help schools assess student achievement and curriculum design, in accordance with Massachusetts state standards. Through a combination of formative assessments, reporting tools, analysis and consultative support, school leaders and teachers gain immediate, objective, and detailed insights into what their students are learning— while there is still time in the school year to close any gaps in their education.
