Institutional Research Associate

Job Description:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Institutional Research Associate is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing and communicating research and data for the purposes of institutional reporting, planning and performance improvement. The incumbent holds major responsibility for maintaining, accessing and analyzing data for required state and federal reporting. The IR Associate serves as a resource for statistical analyses and understands research ethics and issues of data confidentiality. The IR Associate works independently under the guidance of the Director of Assessment and Institutional Research. The position is a fulltime position (35 regularly scheduled hours).
Requirements:REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: Master's degree in a quantitative research field required; 1-3 years experience in institutional research or other relevant higher education management experience. Demonstrated proficiency with statistical analysis, database, spreadsheet and word processing applications. Datatel Colleague and web design experience an asset. Demonstrated skill with detailed systems; strength in organizing and tracking information to insure accurate analysis and consistent reporting.
