Senior Researcher position open at Tufts PACE Center

PACE seeks an individual with expertise in assessment development and validation and statistical analysis as well as excellent project management skills to fill its available Senior Researcher position.
The Senior Researcher will work on research projects focused on the Tufts undergraduate education and will be involved in designing, administering and analyzing assessments to evaluate and monitor students' growth throughout their undergraduate experience. Specifically, the successful candidate will be managing the Kaleidoscope and IMPACTS projects described on the PACE website.
Specific responsibilities include:
Refining scoring rubrics for the IMPACT project; supervising the collection and analysis of additional data; and designing and piloting new assessment instruments as needed;
Tracking and analyzing Kaleidoscope data; and conducting focus groups and surveys as needed to add a qualitative perspective to the database provided through the institution;
Supervising research assistants and students involved in the project (for data collection and data cleaning);
Writing up results for internal and external dissemination;
Contributing to grant writing and other Center-wide activities.
Basic Requirements:
This position requires a PhD and proficiency with software for high level statistical analyses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a researcher is preferred. Experience with publications and presentations at professional conferences, and grant writing experience is desired.
This position is a one-year limited appointment, with the expectation of a renewal based on satisfactory performance.
