ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (QUANTITATIVE METHODS)
The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks applicants for a tenure track faculty position in the Quantitative Methods Area at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are seeking candidates with an earned doctorate in Educational Psychology, Psychology, Statistics, or related fields with a specialization in quantitative methods. Preferred applicants should have a strong research program in quantitative methodology relevant to issues in education and the social and behavioral sciences. Responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses, conducting and publishing research, satisfying the service expectations of the department and university, as well as collaborating with faculty on research design and statistical analysis. The University of Wisconsin-Madison values faculty who can teach to a diverse student body. Candidates will be judged based on their potential for conducting original research as well as demonstrated accomplishments. The appointment begins on August 24th, 2009.
