Bryant University - Asst Professor

Bryant University, College of Arts and Sciences, seeks to fill the following tenure-track position beginning August 1, 2008.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PSYCHOLOGY (Educational or School Psychology): The Department of Applied Psychology and Bryant University are in an exciting period of growth and are seeking to attract a culturally diverse faculty. Responsibilities include: undergraduate teaching, scholarly research, and university service, including student advising/mentoring. Research specialization within education or school psychology is open, but preference will be given to applicants with an applied focus. Teaching responsibilities include: introductory psychology, measurement & assessment, educational psychology and additional courses in the candidate’s area of interest.

Qualifications include: Ph.D. in psychology (by July 1, 2008) with a relevant specialization; demonstration of research record; and potential for a continued research program and commitment to undergraduate teaching with evidence of potential for teaching excellence.
